FUTURE CLEANSING:

     The Scriptures tell us of a time when God will cleanse the earth . . . the next time by fire.  ” . . . the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat; the earth also, and the works that are in it, shall be burned up.  Seeing, then, that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy living and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens (atmosphere), being on fire, shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?  Nevertheless, we, according to His promise, look for NEW HEAVENS and a NEW EARTH . . . “  2 Peter 3:10(b) -13

This cleansing is NOT TO DESTROY the earth . . . but to make a NEW HEAVEN (atmosphere) and EARTH!

WHEN WILL GOD CLEANSE THE WORLD AND CREATE THE NEW HEAVENS AND NEW EARTH?

     After the 1,000 year reign of the King of kings, and at the beginning of the eternal future, the Lord will cleanse the surface and atmosphere of planet earth and forever do away with all that was destroyed and corrupted by sin.  He will eradicate all illness, poison and anything that would pollute the future of earth.

     You may ask, how will God cleanse the earth with fire if there are people of faith living at the end of the Millennium . . . people who will occupy the earth in the eternal future? I think the answer is quite simple . . . the Lord may place everyone (including animals) into the New Jerusalem and lift them off earth while He cleanses the earth and makes all things new. (My speculation . . . but certainly feasible!)
