Russia Conducts A Massive Air Raid Drill!

IS RUSSIA PREPARING FOR NUCLEAR WAR?
Yesterday, Tuesday, October 3, 2023, Vladimir Putin ordered an air raid drill in major cities across Russia with the following announcement – “An air alert is being announced. Everyone, go to the shelter immediately. Attention! Attention! There is a threat of a missile strike.” The announcement proved to be false, of course, but the intent was to prepare the people for nuclear war.
The air raid drill affected 40 million Russians. According to a recent report in the Wall Street Journal, Russian Minister Andrey Mischenko recently said: ‘An inventory was taken in Moscow of the city’s underground spaces, in order to allow us to plan for sheltering 100% of the city’s population.’
Underground spaces? Most of us in America have never even been aware that Russia has built over 16,000 underground shelters for protecting the people living in their cities.
AMERICAN PUBLIC AT RISK:
Meanwhile, the population of the United States is totally ill-prepared and unprotected. One underground air raid shelter was built in Seattle following the Cuban crisis in 1962 and was designed to protect only 100 people. No more air raid shelters for the general population have ever been built . . . by the most wealthy society in the world!
However, the government has built a number of underground bunkers to protect the elite and important people. Everyone knows about the under-mountain facility at Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs but there are also other secret facilities such as the ones located at Raven Rock, PA and Mount Weather, VA, about 60 miles west of Washington D.C. In the event of a nuclear exchange, America is prepared to protect its leaders and decision makers . . . the rest of the population will have to fend for itself.
WHY is America ignoring civil defense?
M.A.D. – Mutual Assured Destruction:
The population of the United States is supposedly protected by the concept of “mutual assured destruction” . . . the belief that no one would dare attack America knowing that they would be destroyed in retaliation. However, the deranged leaders of Russia apparently feel that they could survive nuclear retaliation by protecting their people with bomb shelters and having food and natural resources that are scattered across 11 time zones.
Dmitry Medvedev, deputy head of Russia’s Security Council chaired by President Vladimir Putin, has regularly talked about the growing threat of a nuclear conflict. Lambasting Western officials who talk about increasing military assistance to Ukraine, Medvedev charged this past weekend that “those imbeciles are actively pushing us to World War III.”
So . . . is America in danger of a nuclear war? If so, the survivors would be the ones to suffer the most . . . and the fact is, there will be no shelters and no place to hide!. Roving bands of desperate and hungry neighbors would become suddenly become the major threat to the safety of those survivors who have made preparations to feed their families.
Note: This afternoon at 2:20 eastern time, the U.S. federal government tested its Emergency Alert System, designed to allow the president to speak to the American people within 10 minutes during a national emergency via outlets such as radio and television. It will also send test messages to mobile phone customers in the U.S., according to the Federal Emergency Management Agency. My cell phone received the alert and yours probably did as well.
WHY IS RUSSIA TALKING ABOUT NUCLEAR WAR?
The Russian people are being told that America is the aggressor . . . and that may be true. Afterall, we are fighting a proxy war with Russia by funding and sending sophisticated weapons to Ukraine. On top of that, on September 27, 2022, our president ordered the bombing of the Russian owned Nord Stream underwater pipeline that delivered Russian natural gas to Europe. That, in itself, was a act of war. We are truly living in times of "wars and rumors of wars." Matthew 24:6
Regardless of what our political leaders say, what we may hear on the media news or read on the internet, we would be wise to consider what the Bible says about nuclear war and end-time events.
BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE:
The Prophet Ezekiel declared that Russia will one-day invade a land of “unwalled cities” which could indicate a land without adequate protection for their people . . . such as underground shelters. It should be noted specifically that Ezekiel’s prophecy was about Russia invading the land of Israel;
“After many days thou shalt be visited; in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many peoples, against the mountains of Israel . . . Thou shalt ascend and come like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all they hordes, and many peoples with thee . .. And thou shalt come up against My people of Israel, like a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against My land, that the nations may know Me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog (leader of Magog or Russia).” Ezekiel 38:8-9, 16
God pronounced judgment upon Russia when Ezekiel declared – “And I will send a fire on Magog, and among those who dwell securely in the coastlands; and they shall know that I am the LORD.” Ezekiel 39:6 “Coastlands” is translated as “beyond the sea” and “in the farthest parts” in other passages such as Jeremiah 25:22 and 32. Isaiah 41:5 even refers to “coasts” as the “ends of the earth.” Does this prophecy relate to the Russian invasion of Israel? Probably . . . but we cannot be certain.
Will America become embroiled in a horrifying nuclear holocaust? Time will tell of course, but I believe we need to keep our eye on Israel, Russia’s future military target. When Russia attempts to invade Israel, it appears that a terrible world-wide conflict will begin.
WHEN could such horrendous events occur? Again, time will tell . . . but we might find great comfort in the words of the Lord Jesus Christ Who promised that He would return “as a thief in the night” . . . perhaps the darkest night in human history. Matthew 24:42-44, 1 Thessalonians 5:2
