THE MIRACLE OF STEM CELLS
Stem cells are the agents of health and vitality in our bodies. Without them, we don't heal quickly, and the symptoms of old age accelerate. The shocking thing is that the majority of our stem cells become dormant as we age. No wonder most of us seniors hobble around like three-legged dogs! Is there anything we can do about that. That answer is a wonderful YES!
LETS TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT THESE MICROSCIPIC WONDERS:
Stem cells are special cells in our bodies that our Creator has provided to maintain vitality and health. They are what's called "undifferentiated cells", meaning they can become anything that the body requires. They can literally become any type of cell in our bodies such as heart cells, lung cells, skin cells, blood cells, or any other type of cell that is needed. Stem cells are a main part of how our bodies repair themselves. Having an abundance of healthy stem cells is the key to staying healthy and youthful.
AGING:
As we age, our stem cells mutate and go dormant causing wrinkles, gray hair, body aches, and organ challenges. Many factors affect why these mutations occur, such as our genetic makeup, environmental factors, unhealthy foods that we eat, stress, lack of good sleep, and so on. Unhealthy and dormant stem cells circulating in our bodies are the mains reasons why we experience the negative effects of aging, discomfort, and disease . . . and healthy stem cell activity drastically declines as we get older:
At age 20, our bodies have an estimated billion healthy stem cells.
By the age 30, our healthy stem cells decline by 60%
By the age 50, our healthy stem cells decline by 75%
By the age 60, our healthy stem cells decline by 90%
By the age 80, healthy stem cells decline by 95%
This decline of healthy stem cells is the major factor in aging and poor health.
INVASIVE STEM CELL THERAPY:
Doctors have begun treating patients with injected stem cells in the areas of the body being adversely affected such as inflamed or deteriorated joints, damaged muscles, etc. Stem cell therapy is very expensive, costing from $5,000 to $25,000 per treatment, with three sessions needed, and zero guarantee that the patient will obtain the desired results. Some clinics collect stems cells from the patient's own body, process and concentrate the cells (including unhealthy, dormant cells), and inject them back into the patient.
Out of county clinics harvest stem cells from aborted babies because at and before birth, baby stem cells are more healthy and plentiful than from a mature adult. This procedure is not only costly, but terribly unethical and immoral. The harvesting of aborted embryos and babies is a very profitable industry and thankfully, still illegal in our country although still practiced illegally. Patients seeking such treatment often go to clinics in Mexico and South America.
Another problem with these procedures is that the stem cells are not from the patient's own body and any positive effects deteriorate within two years because the body rejects these invaded cells and eventually destroys and eliminates them. Doctors in the United States who are treating their patients with these procedures are at risk of losing their licenses and even jail-time.
IS THERE ANY HOPE IN RESTORING OUR STEM CELLS . . . effective, legally, and economically?
THE MIRACLE OF PHOTOTHERAPY:
The answer to our problems of depleted stem cells is found in a newly developed process called "phototherapy." This positive treatment can be illustrated from the effects of natural sunlight. We know that the body produces vitamin D when we spend time out-of-doors and in the sun. Vitamin D is often referred to as the "sunshine vitamin," but the fact is, vitamin D is not actually provided by the sun.
